Abstract

In July 2021 there was inflation of 0.16 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.26. Of the 8 CPI cities in East Java, 6 (six) cities experienced inflation, while the other 2 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Sumenep Regency at 0.42 percent with a CPI of 106.48, while the lowest inflation occurred in Malang and Madiun with a CPI of 0.11 percent with a CPI of 104.60 and 105.27. The largest deflation occurred in Kediri City of 0.08 percent with a CPI of 106.05, while the smallest deflation occurred in Jember Regency of 0.05 percent with a CPI of 106.41.
