Abstract

In August 2021 there was inflation of 0.06 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.32. Of the 8 CPI cities in Jawa Timur, 5 (five) cities experienced inflation, while 3 other cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Surabaya at 0.37 percent with a CPI of 106.41, while the lowest inflation occurred in Malang Municipality at 0.03 percent with a CPI of 104.63. The largest deflation occurred in Sumenep Regency by 0.16 percent with CPI of 106.31, while the smallest deflation occurred in Banyuwangi Regency and Kediri Municipality by 0.08 percent.
