Consumer Price Index of Probolinggo Municipality August 2017

In August 2017, Probolinggo Municipality experienced a deflation of  0.19 percent. Probolinggo Municipality  inflation in August 2017 occurred because of 7 (seven) spending groups, 2 (two) groups experienced deflation and 5 (five) groups experienced inflation. This can be seen from the decline in prices indicated by the decline in the food price index by 0.69 percent and the transactions, communication and financial services group by 1.04 percent. Expenditure groups experiencing inflation include food, beverage, cigarette & tobacco at 0.13 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas and household fuel by 0.05 percent, clothing by 0.46 percent, by 0,01 percent, and education group equal to 1,27 percent.
