Consumer Price Index of Probolinggo Municipality September 2018

In September 2018, Probolinggo Municipality experienced a deflation of 0.32 percent. Deflation of Probolinggo Municipality in September 2018 occurred because of 7 (seven) expenditure groups, 3 (three) groups experienced deflation, 2 (two) groups experienced inflation, and 2 (two) groups experienced no change. This can be seen from the decline in prices as indicated by the decline in the price index in the foodstuffs group by 1.27 percent, processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.24 percent, and the housing, electricity, gas & materials group by 0, 01 percent. The expenditure group that experienced inflation was the clothing group by 0.34 percent and the transportation, communication and financial services group by 0.07 percent, while the health expenditure group and the education, recreation and sports expenditure group did not experience changes.
