Consumer Price Index of Probollinggo Municipality February 2019

In February 2019,Probolinggo Municipality experienced a deflation of 0.14 percent. The deflation of Probolinggo Municipality in February 2019 occurred because of 7 (seven) expenditure groups, 3 (three) groups experienced deflation and 4 (four) groups experienced inflation. This can be seen from the decline in prices indicated by a decrease in the price index in the foodstuffs group by 0.65 percent, the clothing group by 0.07 percent and the transportation, communication and financial services group by 0.15 percent. While expenditure groups that experienced price increases included processed foods, beverages, cigarettes & tobacco by 0.17 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel by 0.14 percent, health groups by 0.04 percent and groups education, recreation and sports by 0.15 percent.
