Online Population Census 2020 is Over

History has been created, for the first time Indonesia has successfully carried out an online Population Census. This online census event has officially ended on Friday (29/5), precisely at 23:59 WIB. Previously, BPS had extended the Online Population Census period. Initially the filling schedule began from February 15 to March 31, 2020. The Online Population Census period was extended to May 29, 2020 due to the corono virus pandemic (Covid-19).

The Online Population Census is the first step. BPS will still conduct the second stage of data collection by conventional method. Population Census are held face-to-face (offline) planned to be carried out in September 2020. Census officers who are recruited by BPS will come to the houses of the residents to collect data.
